The tours around July's Piece of the Month at the Alhambra Museum will focus on the Lindaraja Fountain. This piece is special for its decoration, as it features a prominent epigraphic inscription.

The Tower of the Points (Torre de los Picos) received this name because its merlons end in brick pyramids. It was built in the late 13th century or beginning of the 14th and it is therefore surprising to see its Gothic style.

In the late Middle Ages, the Moors sought to create their own version of paradise on Earth at a place they called the Alhambra in what is now Granada, Spain. Seven centuries later, few have come close to matching the Moors’ efforts, but the folks at the New York Botanical Garden are at least willing to give it a shot—recreating elements of the famous Gardens of Alhambra with this exciting, ongoing flower exhibition at the Haupt Conservatory. Flamenco music, Spanish cuisine and the poetry of Federico Lorca will add to the ambiance in and around the gardens throughout the summer.

The exhibition “La Alhambra crece. 25 años de adquisiciones del Patronato de la Alhambra y el Generalife” (The Alhambra grows. 25 years of acquisitions of the Patronato de la Alhambra y el Generalife), shows 274 pieces acquired by the monument since 1985.

The 'Parador Museum' of Granada, located in the grounds of the Alhambra and Generalife, will be the first Parador of Andalucia and the third of the country to become a museum and display pieces of artistic value as the tomb where rested the Catholic Monarchs, The Gardens of Paradise, the Arab hammam or the Nazari Room.
The Parador Museum is one of the highest rated hotels in Granada by visitors for its privileged location and its services.
