Access to the Alhambra

Admission

• The number of daily tickets is limited.
• Due to the large demand for tickets it is recommended that you buy them in advance.
• The maximum number of tickets per person is 10 (unless dealing with authorized travel agents).

Access to the Monument

• It is recommended that you arrive ahead of time given that the estimated time for a complete visit is approximately 3 hours.
• You can only access the Monument in the morning, afternoon or evening depending on the ticket you purchased (see Ticket Sales for more information).
• Access to the Nasrid Palaces is only allowed within the hour indicated on your ticket, due to a limited capacity in this space. If you don’t enter at this specific time slot, you will lose the right to visit this area. Due to that it is recommended organizing the visit based on your assigned entrance time to the Nasrid Palaces.
• If you do not arrange for tickets, you can purchase them at the ticket office situated in the Access Pavillion, and from there gain access to the Alcazaba, Nasrid Palaces and the Generalife.
• If you have a ticket it is recommended you access the complex though the Gate of Justice (Puerta de la Justicia).
• The final entrance is one hour before the closing time. If your time slot to visit the Nasrid Palaces is in the final entrance of the day, you should visit the Generalife and the Alcazaba before, given that the tour of the Palaces lasts at least a half hour.
• Visitors will be asked to leave the Monument at closing time.
