Generalife

The Generalife became a leisure place for the kings of Granada when they wanted to get away from the official affairs of the palace.

This patio is the most important part of the Generalife, although the appearance of its buildings and gardens has changed since the Arab period.

This patio is named after its most famous old cypress. The Water Stairway, one of the staircases in these gardens is especially beautiful because of its beauty and originality.
