The Tower of the Mihrab (Torre del Mihrab) stands to the right of the Ladies Tower. Inside there is an oratory for the people who lived in the palace next to it. In 1932 it recovered its original appearance after a not very appropriate restoration in the 19th century.
The façade, with a horseshoe arch in the middle, still has some remains of the decorative plasterwork. The inside chamber is divided into two sections (one bigger than the other) by a semicircular arch. The mihrab's ceiling is made of assembled pieces, very much like the ones of the African mosques. The following inscription is written on its horseshoe arch: "Be not neglectful, come ye to pray".
